Peter Ingrasselino’s passion for food began at a very young age. Some of his fondest childhood memories are of helping his grandmother in the kitchen, preparing the traditional Italian dishes his family loved. At just 14 years old, he began working as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. Every opportunity to step into food preparation fueled his passion even more. Over time, he mastered both the kitchen and dining room, working every position in the restaurant and learning the business from the ground up.
Determined to turn his passion into a profession, Peter enrolled at the prestigious New York Restaurant School (now the Culinary Institute of New York), where he earned his degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Immediately after graduation, he was recruited by Club Med Vacation Resorts. Following intensive training, he was assigned to Vieux Fort, St. Lucia, where he served as Executive Chef. During his time there, he collaborated with talented international chefs and mastered 17 different cuisine styles.
Upon returning to New Jersey, Peter opened his first restaurant, Peter’s on the Boulevard. The Bergen Record recognized him as “a GREAT new chef in the industry.” At just 23 years old, he secured his first consulting position in Clearwater, Florida, advising the owners of Ill Fornaio Trattoria on menu development, staff training, and cost control strategies.
He later opened The Black Pearl, a fine-dining French restaurant that achieved a four-star rating. There, he catered to notable actors, models, and Fortune 500 executives. This success allowed him to expand his portfolio, launching multiple restaurants, catering companies, a publishing company, a branded manufacturing facility, a hospitality consulting agency, and a hospitality placement agency. Peter personally oversaw construction, design, system programming, hiring, training, and menu development—building each establishment from the ground up to four-star success.
Peter also founded Catering Masters, serving events across the entire state of Florida—from beachfront weddings to private backyard gatherings. He secured an exclusive statewide contract with The Home Depot, becoming the sole catering provider for all of their corporate events in Florida.
Expanding his brand, Peter developed his own line of bottled sauces, salad dressings, spices, frozen pizzas, and a specialty coffee line in partnership with Melitta Coffee as part of their Celebrity Chef Series. He served as a food columnist for the Deland-Deltona Beacon and hosted cooking seminars teaching clients how to prepare chef-quality meals at home. He was also elected President of the American Culinary Federation for the Tampa Bay Area and served on the Board of Directors for the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce.
His experience includes serving as Food and Beverage Director for Starwood Hotels, as well as working as a hands-on hospitality consultant and expert witness for Fortune 500 companies in legal proceedings.
Peter has been featured in numerous television, radio, and print publications throughout his career. His last name, “INGRASSELINO™,” is now a nationally and internationally recognized trademark brand for his sauces, cookbook series, and reality books. His products have been distributed through major retailers including Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Apple, Kindle, Amazon, Sears, and collaborations connected with Martha Stewart.
Beyond hospitality, Peter expanded into the pet food market, combining his lifelong love for animals with culinary innovation, working alongside veterinarians to develop quality products for pets.
In addition, Peter holds five real estate licenses across NJ, NY, PA, FL, MD, and the Caribbean. He assists clients with both residential and commercial transactions, leveraging his extensive business expertise and network to ensure smooth, efficient deals.
Most recently, Peter created and hosts “Real Estate Talk Live,” a dynamic talk show delivering the raw, real side of real estate as it happens today. The show is featured on Roku, Apple TV, and multiple other platforms and networks.
